Roslyn’s Cereal Drive

Roslyn organized a week-long cereal drive in her community to support the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity. She wanted to share a big thank you with her community for showing up!

The cereal drive was a success! We collected a total of 631 boxes of cereal and delivered them to the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) food shelf in St. Albans. Your generous donations will be distributed to surrounding schools and food shelves in Franklin County and will help many people in our community. My favorite part about the cereal drive was visiting the different classrooms and meeting people in the community. It was a very fun and exciting week. I just want to say THANK YOU to students, staff and the community for your support and kindness.

If you’d like to host a drive at your school, please watch this video where I share everything I learned about how to do it! If you do hold a drive, you can email roslyn@vt.kidgovernor.org to ask any questions or tell me how yours went!
