About Kid Governor Roslyn:
My name is Roslyn. I live with my mom, dad, brother, and dog. My hobbies include crocheting, knitting, and hanging out with my family and friends. I chose the issue of homelessness because I care about all people in my community and think everyone deserves to have a safe and warm place to live. Did you know that Vermont ranks 4th in the United States for homelessness?

2026 Connecticut’s Kid Governor Roslyn Fortin was elected on her Supporting People Experiencing Homelessness platform. Her platform focuses on three points.

On November 19, 2025, NBC5’s Jack Thurson and Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas announced that Roslyn Fortin was elected by the state’s fifth graders to serve as the 2026 Connecticut’s Kid Governor.
